My closest friend at work (my son's teacher) was taken out of her classroom today and told that her father had just been killed in an accident. I could hear her wailing from shock and grief down the hall.
Tonight, we had planned a party to celebrate her birthday.
It seems like everything changes so drastically, so quickly sometimes.
My heart aches for her today.
Lord, Please comfort my friend.

seriously though, we'll keep your friend in our prayers! Hopefully he was saved...
i was eating supper with my sister, she happens to be a very good friend of sherry halfman, randi's mom, and she told me the awful news. that is so sad.
please give her a hug for me and tell her that i am praying for her, if you see her before i do.
it was so sad to hear that.
