So I returned the meat.
I have never returned rotten meat before.
I guess I never thought of it.

I got to the return desk.
The lady asked no questions.
She just nodded and scanned and gave me my money back.
I asked her, "Does this happen a lot?"
She said, "yeah, a lot of our meat is rotten. You should go to HEB. They have good meat there."
The girl next to her, her supervisor, said, "Yeah, I don't buy my meat here."
I said, "Thanks for the tip."
I turned away. Speechless.

Oh my goodness. I have never gotten rotten meat at Walmart. I only usually buy chicken and turkey meat. Thats crazy.
That's unbelievable.
EEEEWWWWW!!!
I'm so sorry that you've had a some really bad experiences at W-Mart. I KNOW that is NOT what they stand for. Unfortunately, there's bad managers everywhere.
The "proper" procedure would be to write a letter to the corporate office telling of your experience AND the conversation of the employees! I can not believe that they don't have a problem with the fact that they have a serious problem (in the meat dept!)
Some of it too, might just be the area. Businesses in the north are 3 times more professional than in the south. Sorry, but it's just a fact. ;)
Better luck next time!
I'm glad you took it back!
The really upsetting part is that they weren't shocked or stunned or anything...just another return of rotten meat.
That's just gross.
This is absurd. You definitely should write to to cooperate like a's rich life suggested.
that is just crazy. even their own employees don't have faith in their products. i'll know not to buy my meat there.
