I am so excited! My dad is gonna help me hang my chandelier tomorrow. I was no match for the Hunter "EZ Install" fixture. So much for my handy side.
Dining room is finally finished! (except for the fixture) I did not know that painting a room red would be so involved. Why did those of you with red rooms (marme) not warn me?
I feel like all I ever talk about lately is home improvement. This too shall pass...

fyi: anyone thinking of painting a room red make sure you have the patience to roll about 42 coats cause it seems you can never get it to look covered or not streaked or right. but it is pretty!

oh...by the way, painting a red room is a bummer. i was the majority painter for that room at marme's. it was mine, you know. before they replaced me!

Didn't W tell you how many times we went back to the store to get the "right" red? Geez. And we only did one wall. I have a red wall in my house, but it was there when I moved in.
Today (Wed), I have lessons. Tomorrow or Fri - I have nothing. I could possibly (depending on Ca) come over or you could always come here. If you want to take the pictures yourself and send them, that is fine, too. Hanging out together is always better in my opinion, though.
